Insert the first word that comes to mind and you probably guessed the word I used. I am in week 3 of a couch to 5K program. Yes, I can run a 5K right now but I am not using the program for that. I downloaded an app on my phone to help me with pace. On the walk segments, I jog and one the run segments, I run pace. I had lofty goals in week one and the run segments weren't that bad because I didn't have to run very long. As I have progressed, my rear is getting kicked all over the place. But I am completing it and I hope it does indeed help my pace. What doesn't kill you....
Yeah, let's hope the stronger part is true.
Did I also mention I am doing Jillian micheals 30 day Shred with some co-workers? We are doing it 2-3 days a week. Not too bad but doing a bunch of squats and lunges before any type of speed work equals exhaustion. Hope all of this will be worth it!
My reward? Starbucks grande skinny latte with 2 pumps SF vanilla/2pumps SF caramel/no foam . Dee-Lish.
